Ma Yanhong graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2002 and has exhibited internationally across Asia and Europe. Her early realist portraits of women from her own generation established the foundation of her figurative practice. In recent years, her work has evolved to incorporate collage and anime imagery, merging imagination and contemporary visual culture in her exploration of the female body.

Chen Liang graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and has devoted over two decades to the sustained exploration of the eagle as his central motif. His works merge refined technique with a balance of classical spirit and contemporary vision, and have been exhibited internationally and collected by private and institutional collectors.

Xu Lijing is a media artist and independent curator based between Beijing and Tokyo. Working across photography, moving image, and installation, her practice explores memory, urban experience, and cultural identity shaped by technological mediation. She received her Ph.D. from Tokyo University of the Arts and has exhibited internationally.

Belén García-Noblejas holds a PhD in Asian Studies and is a professor of International Relations in Madrid. She taught at Waseda University (2023–2025), focusing on East–West sociocultural dialogue, with research centered on political sociology.

 

Her work extends beyond academia into intercultural projects, including exhibition curation and teaching at the Cervantes Institute, as well as roles in Beijing and Shanghai.

 

Alongside this, she maintains an artistic practice in ceramics. Since her time in China, she has developed sculptural works that reinterpret everyday objects as forms of emotional and conceptual expression.

顔開|YAN KAI

Yan Kai graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and was a visiting scholar at Kobe Design University in Japan. Working across multiple media, he explores the space between dualities and recently adopts tea as a primary painting medium. His works have been exhibited internationally and are held in major museum collections, including the National Art Museum of China and the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.

​陳子豊

Chen Zifeng lives and works in Beijing. He received his B.A. and M.A. from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Rooted in Chinese painting traditions, his practice engages with the transformation of ink language within a contemporary context, balancing structural clarity and expressive force. Since 2019, he has presented multiple solo exhibitions in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Tokyo, and his works have been widely exhibited in major institutions and international venues. His paintings are held in museum and private collections.
